COLORADO <br /> <br />Units 1, 2; and 6 (Juniper Plan) <br /> <br />December 1964 <br /> <br />LOCATION: Along the White River in the vicinity of Meeker, Colorado. <br /> <br />~: The multi-purpose development would provide storage for recre- <br />ation. fishery. municipal and industrial water. and the irri- <br />gation of 23,226,acres, including 4.964 acres of supplemental <br />service land and 18,262 acres of full service lands. The <br />principal features are: Lost Park Reservoir located on a tri- <br />butary of the North Fork of the White River; Ripple Creek <br />Reservoir located on the North Fork of the White River; Yellow <br />Jacket Canal, which diverts from the North Fork of the White <br />River and terminates at the beginning of the Coal Creek Canal; <br />Josephine Basin Canal, diverting from the Yellow Jacket Canal <br />and serving the project lands in Little Beaver.
