Part of the expected deficiency can be made <br /> <br />up by durtailments of interruptible customers. This <br /> <br />has already been done and will reduce the total <br />projected energy load by about 268 GWh for the <br /> <br />foul" month period. <br /> <br />4. A portion of the deficiency can be made up <br /> <br />by reduction of customer energy use. Such reduction <br /> <br />can be achieved by voluntary and state-mandated <br /> <br />conser~ation, and voltage reduction 01" rotating <br /> <br />disconqections of service by the utilities. A <br /> <br /> <br />reasonable four-month total reduction of energy use <br /> <br />(in addition to the interruptible cut off referred <br />to abo~e) would be about 5 percent of the projected <br />firm load. <br />
