Reasonable.'Maximum Inflow Forecast

Green Mountain Reservoir

With a reasonable maximum inflow forecast, releases from Green Mountain Reservoir for
bypass of inflow, replacement, power, and river and reservoir regulation will average 3+5
fels in February and March and will be increased in April to near ~ ft Is after ice
conditions permit to reduce the storage content to 55,000 acre-feet by April 30. Releases for
power will be increased, as required, from May through July to allow the reservoir to fill in
mid-July while minimizing the spill. June and July releases are expected to average near
~ Wis. The reservoir will remain nearly full throughout the remainder of the water year,
With reasonable maximum runoff, it is estimated that the cities of Colorado Springs and
Denver will deliver surplus water to the Blue River during April-September in the amount
of ~ acre-feet which would credit about 1.7 gigawatt-hours of power interference at the
Green Mountain Powerplant. .

Willow Creek Reservoir

Willow Creek Reservoir storage would reach a near maximum reservoir capacity of 10,200
acre~feet by the; elld 6f Al'ril. With a Lake Granby spill forecasted and a reasonable
maximum runoff forecast, no water would be pumped to Granby during the April-July runoff
period. A total of71,999 acre-feet would be bypassed through the outlet works at Willow
Creek during April through July due to Lake Granby being at capacity and spilling.
Reservoir storage would remain at capacity through August and then would be pumped down
to 9,000 acre-feet by the end of the water year.

Lake Granby

Storage in Lake Granby will drop to a minimum of about ~95,209 acre-feet by the end of
April. Thereafter, Lake Granby storage will fill to its capacity 539,800 acre-feet (elevation
8280,00 feet) by mid-June, A spill of55,~99 acre-feet occurs in June and July as the east
slope reservoir storage is at capacity and Adams Tunnel diversions are maximized,
Reservoir storage of 528,799 acre-feet at the end of the water year would be 115,030 acre-
feet above the 30-year average of 413,670 acre-feet.

East Slope - Colorado-Big Thom,pson Proiect

With a reasonable maximum runoff forecast on February 1, below-average supplemental
project water demands equal to 153,799 acre-feet will be expected on the Project during
water year 1999. Diversions through Adams Tunnel will average about 3+5 Wls during
February.
