About four miles of this pipeline have been completed to
date.

Measurements of the discharge at the mine since 1978 indicate the flow has ranged
from a low of about 0.19 cfs to over 0.7 cfs. The flow at the mine is then reduced by a
15 percent stream transit loss from the mine to the mouth of Bear Creek. The average
monthly flow over the last two years is shown in Table A

TABLE A
Measured Hock-Hocking Mine Flow
Mine Flow Divertible at Bear Creek
Month (cfs) ( acre-feet) (cfs x 85%) (acre-feet )
J an uary .26 16.0 .22 13.6
February .25 13.9 .21 11.8
March .23 14.1 .20 12.0
April .23 13.7 .20 11.6
May .45 27.7 .38 23.5
June .44 26.2 .37 22.5
July .35 21.5 .30 18.3
August .34 20.9 .29 17.8
September .30 17.9 .26 15.2
October .28 17.2 .24 14.6
November .25 14.9 .21 12.6
December .26 16.0 .22 13.6
Totals 220.0 186.8

The available supply corrected for stream losses as shown in Table A was assumed
to be a~able for storage in Bear Creek Lake during each year of the 1949-1957 study
period either by exchange or by pumping through the South Platte Pipeline.
