<br />, <br /> <br />M0222 <br /> <br />ANIMAS AND SAN JUAN RIVERS <br />DOWNSTREAM FROM THE NAVAJO RESERVOIR <br /> <br />Water Reauirement. <br />Information supplied the committee by New Mexico indicates <br />that the full water use requirement of that section of the San Juan <br />River from the Navajo Reservoir downstream to the junction of the <br />Animas River are provided for within the schedule of demands on the <br />Navajo Reservoir previously discussed in this report. The information <br />also indicates that all municipal and industrial requirements down- <br />stream from the junction of the Animas River are to be supplied from <br />and are a part of the schedule of demand on the Navajo Reservoir. <br />Predicated on the above information the findings of the <br />committee show that there are four ditches with diversions from the <br /> <br />San Juan River below the junction of the Animas which, according to <br />plans of New Mexico, will be dependent on water supply from sources <br />other than water tributary to the Navajo Reservoir.
