Western Slone <br /> <br />Becauee of the importance of providing sufficient water for the <br /> <br />full development of the Western SlOpe before diversion of the unused <br /> <br />water supplies outside the Colorado River Basin, nearly all the land <br /> <br />on the Colorado River and its tributaries has been classified to show <br /> <br />the location and extent of irrigated lands and of lands capable of <br /> <br />irrigation by various offices of the Bureau of Reclamation.
