<br />14.4:; <br /> <br />If water is sold to entities downstream, the outflow fran the reservoir <br />will be adjusted to the situation at the time of delivery and will be <br />included in the overall operation. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Table 10 and Exhibit 11 sl'cw the anticipated operation of Ruedi Reservoir <br />during water year 1983. <br /> <br />C. Western Slope Collection Systlfrn <br /> <br />In water year 1983 all 16 diversion points on the Western Slope Collec- <br />tion Systen will be in operation. The exchange of up to 3,000 acre-feet <br />of water into the Ibaring Fork River with the Twin Lakes Reservoir and <br />Canal Company systen is planned to be ffii!lde again this year. Under the <br />terms of the exchange the water is to !?'f furnished to the ccmpany at <br />Twin Lakes through and by means of project diversions and storage in <br />exchange for the cx:rrq:xmy making equival'lmt releases fran the headwaters <br />of the Roaring Fork River which would oj:hawise be diverted through the <br />Canal Company's collection and diversion systen. The exchange will be <br />operated according to a plan to be developed pursuant to an agreement <br />with the Twin Lakes Reservoir and Canal Company. <br /> <br />D. Turquoise lake <br /> <br />1. Inflow <br /> <br />I <br />Inflow to Turquoise Lake for water year: 1983 will be fran four sources: <br />Busk-Ivanh:le imports, Fryir\gpeln-Arkansas Project imports, Hanestake <br />Project imports, and native flow of Lake Fork Creek. Estimates of . <br />inflow fran Busk-Ivanhoe and native Lake Fork Creek were made using <br />historical records and probability analysis. Hanestake Project plans to <br />import about 23, 000 acre-feet of water 'OCM stored in Hanestake Reservoir. <br />Fryi.n:Jpan-Arkansas Project water import$ are estimated to equal the <br />estimated long term average of 67,900 ac;:re-feet. <br /> <br />2. Minimum Release <br /> <br />The minimum release is 15 ft3js, or natural infl=, whichever is less. <br /> <br />3. Reservoir Operations <br /> <br />The planned operation of Turquoise Lake i for water year 1983 will be to <br />draw the reservoir down to all= storag~ of project imports, Busk- <br />Ivanhoe imports, and Hanestake imparts. I The release rate will be set at <br />approximately 325 ft3js fran Novanber Ij; through March 15, which should <br />provide sufficient space for the required storage. <br /> <br />The ll,730 acre-feet of Hanestake water stored in Turquoise Lake <br />(Septenber 30, 19821 plus the water year 1983 imports will be released <br />at the request of the lIcrnestake Project; <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />18 <br />
