<br />Location.. -Water-stage recorder, lat 36"4413311. long 106"37 r 34" J in Tierra Amarilla Grant,
<br />on T1ght bank 200 ft downstream from bridge, 0.2 mile downstream from Iron Spring Creek,
<br />3.3 miles west of Park View, and at mile 9.7. Datum of gage is 7,196.29 ft above mean
<br />sea level. Prior to Apr. I, 1971 at site 900 ft downstream.
<br />DrainaRe area.--112 sq mi.
<br />Average discharge.--7 years (1963-69) 11.5 cfs (8,330 acre-ft per year) prior to completion
<br />ot Azotea tunnel.
<br />Extremes.--1962-73: Maximum discharge. 1,600 cfs Aug. 11, 1967 (gage height, 3.88 ft); no
<br />flow at times most years.
<br />
<br />Remarks.--Records good except those for winter months, which are pOor. Subsequent to
<br />Nov. 16, 1970, flow affected by transmountain diversions through Azotea tunnel. Flow in
<br />Rutheron Drain included prior to Apr. I, 1971.

<br />on rLght bank 3.7 miles northwest of Heron Dam, 7.8 miles downstream from Horse Lake,
<br />and 9.9 miles west of Park View. Datum of gage is 7,188.85 ft above mean sea level.
<br />Prior to July I, 1971 at site 1,100 it upstream.
<br />Drainage area.--45 sq mi, approximately.
<br />Avera~e discharKe.--1l years (1963-73) 1.10 cis (797 acre-ft per year).
