AL

identified for pilot studies or restoration, a site specific document
or categorical exclusion will be developed. Cultural resources and
permitting will be conducted within the framework of this task. This
work will be conducted by the program's environmental compliance
coordinator with the Bureau of Reclamation Grand Junction Project's
Office.

5. Site DesiQn. EnQineerinQ. and Construction. The conceptual plan will
provide details on the specific action originally proposed for this
site. Additionally, the study design necessary to conduct the on-site
contaminant studies will then be considered and incorporated into the
site design to accommodate this work. The I-foot contour topography
map will assist engineers in designing any water and/or fish control
structures, excavation depth of the inlet and outlet channels, and
slope of the tertiary side channel necessary to reconnect the side
channel. It is perceived that this work will be accomplished by the
Bureau of Reclamation's Grand Junction Project's Office. FWS will
provide general study coordination during this phase.

VII. Task Description (FY-I995)
(see VI. Study Methods/Approach above for description)

1.
