The <br />existing diversion structure would be stabilized and inyorporate a proposed concrete intake for <br />the new river pump station. The river intake would be ~creened and gated and inClude an <br />"Emergency Standby Generator in the new river pump station. <br /> <br />The purposes of the proposed action are to: <br /> <br />provide a redundant raw water supply to the existing treatment plant, and <br /> <br />(1) <br />(2) <br /> <br />provide additional capacity to meet existing peak water demands and anticipated <br />demands at build-out of the Pueblo West community. . <br /> <br />The action area of these proposed actions includes Reolamation property between Park Road and <br />the toe of Pueblo Dam and an area 50-feet either side of the centerline of the new pipeline from <br />the Arkansas River to the treatment plant as shown on Attachment 2, all in Pueblo County. <br />Reclamation would appreciate a list offederally listed and proposed species which may be <br />located in the. aCtion area.
