The general satisfactory performance of this equipment and <br />the necessity for more frequent gage reports from the inflow stations <br />during flood periods points to the desirability of installing similar equip- <br />ment at the stations on the Arkansas and Purgatoire Rivers at Las <br />Anim:ls. FiPJdings of Fact by the Administration <br /> <br />(a) The Administration at a Special Meeting, called for the pur- <br />pose on April 2, 1953, considered the short water supply and the time <br />of notification to the State Engineer of Colorado under Art. VF of <br />the Compact. As a result of such considcrlltion the Administrrltioll <br />pas..c:.ed a resolution giving notice to the State Engineer n{ Color,lelo of <br />the impending exhaustion of water in the cClnscrv;ltinn pool stating the <br />date of April 13, 1953, on which to administer the decreed rights <br />nf the water users in Colorado. This date W;lS modified on April 11, <br />1953, to read April 14, 1953, and again modified on April 13, 1953. <br />to read April 15, 195:;' The reservoir was declared officially empty ;It <br />,:35 P.M.
