of planning. If it was for, to develop the strategy we should follow.
I think the suggestion made by Walt perhaps is a good first step.
To arrive at some ideas of what actions this committee should or
could take to bring that about. But I am very happy that we've been
exposed to your very able presentation, I think you have done a
wonderful job.

Mr. Pfulb. Thnak you.

Colonel Vandenberg. I will echo that. If there are no objec-
tions, I will ask the Executive Secretary to ask the Technical Sub-
committee to add this item to their work plan. Thnak you again Mr.
Pfulb.

10. Other Reports

Colonel Vandenberg. The next item on the agenda is other reports.
If anyone has another report to present, this is the time and I'll
give our host state first chance at it.

Mr. Slingerland. Nothing in particular, Mr. Chairman. We are
pleased you deCided to meet in New Mexico. It's always a. pleasure
to have this Committee here. I don't believe I have anything in
particular to report.

Colonel Vandenberg. I'm not going to go around the room asking
for reports. So, if there is anyone who has a report to make, now
is the time to hold up your hand and be recognized. Apparently not.

11. Selection of Host State, Meeting Location, Arrangements For,
and Date of 78c2Meeting

Colonel Vandenberg. The next item has been taken care of by our
very able Executive Subcommittee. The host state and the date of
the next meeting has been established, California on the 16th and
17th of August. I guess we will expect to hear from the State of
California as to where that meeting will be held. Anyone have any
comments on the date or host state? I'm very happy to hear that
California has volunteered. Item 13 on the agenda, I'm not sure
if that number is significant in any way Bob. Is there any other
business before we adjourn?

Mr. Hightower. I might add that after the Subcommittee adopted
that date yesterday, a couple of people came to me and suggested
San Diego as a meeting site, but it was left up to California to
decide where they wanted it. Does anybody have any objections
to San Diego? I'll convey this information to Bob Miller who is
going to select the site.

B-24
