<br />" <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />This report, prepared by the State Engineer, Hal Simpson, and Division of Water <br />Resource staff members, documents what has been achieved to date in bringing about <br />compliance with the compact, efforts currently underway, and plans for the future. Some <br />of the ongoing and future efforts are the responsibility of the State of Colorado. Some <br />efforts will be accomplished by entities in the Arkansas River basin. Documenlation of these <br />efforts is based upon the current knowledge of the State Engineer of each entities' present <br />plans for providing augmentation water for its members to replace out-of-priority depletions <br />to senior surface water rights in Colorado and depletions to usable stateline flow. Since <br />many activities will continue after the date of this report, the State Engineer will provide <br />additional information to the Special Master and Kansas during the trial segment set to begin <br />on February 19, 1996. <br /> <br />The State Engineer sincerely acknowledges the assistance of the following staff who <br />contributed in preparing this report by the September 29, 1995 deadline.
