The USE database stores information on amounts of water used as reported on 1994
Measurement Rule Form Nos. 6.1 and 6.2 (see Appendix B). This database is updated
yearly. Entry of all information received from Forms 6.1 and 6.2 is complete for 1994 and
the Division Engineer's Office is currently in the process of appending data from the
associations.

ASSOCIATION database

The ASSOCIATION dalabase identifies association member wells, wells which have
court approved augmentation plans, wells subject to substitute supply plans, and other wells
which may currently pump beyond the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday allowance under the
1973 Use Rules. In the future, this database may be used to identify wells allowed to pump
under the 1996 Use Rules. Because membership in associations changes, the database is
updated yearly. If used to identify wells that can pump under the 1996 Use Rules, a
redefinition and configuration of this dalabase may be required.

WATER RIGHTS database

The WATER RIGHTS database includes information from each water right decree
for each well. Currently, this database only contains structure identification number
assignments for a few wells. The Division Engineer's Office intends to coordinate data
between this database and WS2.

PERMITS database

The PERMITS database is another source database that is also intended to be linked
by structure identification numbers. As with the WATER RIGHTS database, well
administration efforts are not dependent upon adding structure identification numbers to the
PERMITS database and, therefore, appending this database with structure identification
numbers will be a long term effort.

INSPECI10N database

The INSPECTION database is a log of visits to wells for enforcement purposes.

Use of Data and Ti-ansfer to and from Others

The above data is all public information and the Division of Water Resources
anticipates that all parties interested in well administration in the Arkansas River basin may
be potential users of these well administration databases. The Division has provided a
preliminary report based upon WS2, MEAS_lOO and ASSOCIATION databases to the
various ground water associations.

12
