Russell Bowen, Chief'. State Programs Section. Water <br />Quality Hanagement Dranch, Region 6. U.S. Environmental <br />Protection Agency. Dallas, Texas. talked about the areas ot' <br />the Clean Water Act Amendments of' 1987 that deal with water <br />quality problem identif'ication and requirements to implement <br />controls to restore and maintain the quality of' rivers, <br />lakes. and reservoirs. <br /> <br />Hr. Hax Dodson. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Denver <br />Colorado, talked about the (1) views concerning national <br />groundwater legislation and EPA's position on the need f'or <br />legislation, (2) toxics. (3) national municipal facilities. <br />and (4) enf'orcement. <br /> <br />-6- <br />
