<br />00'32'3'0 <br /> <br />COLORADO: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Sacramento County Irrigation Project <br /> <br />Sponsors objectives have been determined at the <br />initial meeting of the steering committee, which is <br />comprised of representatives from three Resource <br />Conservation Districts (Sloughhouse, Florin, and <br />Lower Consumnes) an irrigation district, the Farm <br />Bureau and county officials. The project will focus <br />on an extensive irrigation distribution system, levee <br />problems, streambank protection and erosion control. <br />The Detailed Work Outline is being reviewed. <br /> <br />Fall River Valley <br /> <br />A Detailed Work Outline has been prepared and the <br />study is underway. Flood control, sub-surface <br />drainage, pollution due to overflow of septic tanks, <br />and water quality are the primary objectives for this <br />project. The Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br />Control Board, Shasta County Department of Health and <br />Public Works and the Fall River Resource Conservation <br />District are among the co-sponsors for this project. <br /> <br />Foothill County IWM <br /> <br />A letter of request has been received from the <br />President of the High Sierra Resource Conservation <br />and Development Area, requesting the irrigat" <br />water management counties be given higher R <br />The Watershed Area Study, which was schedu <br />begi n in April 1982, wi 11 now be starting .. <br />in late summer 1981.
