Twelve working papers <br />were combined into 4 appendices. The final reports to <br />be published will consist of the 4 appendices and a <br />Summary Report. Printing should begin by October 1, 1981, <br />followed by distribution of the reports and public infor- <br />mation meeti ngs. <br /> <br />Colorado River Indian Reservation Cooperative Study <br /> <br />.Progres5 on this study has been slower than desired <br />because of staff changes and work on the Little Colorado <br />Study. <br /> <br />The collection of basic resource data and the soil survey <br />'conti nues. Soil samples for 1 ab ana 1ys is were taken in <br />February 1981. Substantial progress has been made on <br />determining land treatment needed and applied and irri- <br />gated acres by crop. <br /> <br />Twenty of 40 case histories have been completed to <br />determine yield responses from land treatment. A special <br />form was developed to gather this data. <br /> <br />One Working Paper (Description of Basin) was completed. <br /> <br />Water measuring weirs with graph recorders are operational <br />at 20 on-farm sites, 1 large lateral, and 30 project spill <br />sites. <br /> <br />,. <br /> <br />Arizona State University completed, under contract, an <br />inventory of wildlife resources. <br /> <br />The possibility of changing this study from a Level B to <br />a Level C Study was explored with the WAC and WTSC.
