<br />liquid water in clouds; will be developing its ability to integrate <br />data on a real time basis in developing decision forecasts as to when <br />and where to put seeding material; and will be participating in a <br />cooperative effort with Colorado State University on the Park Range <br />of the Rocky Mountains that will involve a small scale cloud seeding <br />eff'ort. <br /> <br />Foehner also distributed a written document which summarizes <br />the above activities now ongoing in the Weather Modification Program. <br /> <br />I informed the Committee of my telephone call with Jack Stonehocker <br />of the Nevada Colorado River Commission, a member of the Task Committee. <br />Stonehocker advised me of his recent conversation with Commissioner <br />Broadbent, wherein he reiterated his personal support for the Colorado <br />Weather Modification Demonstration Program, b1,1t stated he believed that <br />additional letters of support of the program would be of assistance in <br />getting the expanded and accelerated program underway. Stonehocker <br />said that Broadbent stated that he would appreciate letters of support <br />from PSIAC, as well as from the individual state members of PSIAC. <br /> <br />I referred to Commissioner Broadbent's comments on this program, <br />and the Task Committee concurred that PSIAO should send a letter to <br />Commissioner Broadbent expressing support for the demonstration program. <br />Commissioner Broadbent also stated that the Bureau would be pleased to <br />present information on the Weather Modification Program to any of those <br />that would be interested in it.
