<br />McClure (Granite Point) Reservoir.-Water-stage recorder In NE1/45W1/4 see, 24, T. 17 N.. R. 10 E" on Santa Fe River, Original
<br />reservoir completed in 1926. capacity, 561 acre-ft; in 1935, permanent flash boards were installed in spillway increasing capacity to
<br />650 acre-it; in 1947 both dam and spillway were reconstructed increasing capacity to 2,6J5 acre-ft (gage height, 96.6 ft, crest of
<br />spillway). In 1953 spillway was equipped with radial gates that opened automatically, Increasing capacity to over 3,000 aCrP.-ft. In
<br />1972, radial gates were removed decreasing capacity to 2,615 acre-ft. In 1989, modifications to the dam and spillway increased
<br />capadty to 2.813 acre-ft. In 1995, modification to the dam and spillway increased capacity to 3.257 acre--ft. No dead storage.
<br />Altitude of gage is 7,790 ft. Water is for municipal use in Santa Fe. Storage includes both Rio Grande water and transmountain
<br />water by exchange. Only the storage of Rio Grande water in excess of 1,061 acre-feet is subject to terms of Rio Grande Compact.
