<br />Abiquiu Reservoir.-Water-stage recorder, tat 36014'24", long l(l6025'44", on Rio Cbama. Completed in February 1963; capacity,
<br />1,201,200 acre-ft at elevation 6,350 feet (crest of spillway) by 1984 survey. Reservoir is operated by Corps of Engineers for flood
<br />. control and sediment storage. A resolution granting permission to store transmountain waters was approved by Rio Grande
<br />Compact Commission on May 3, 1974. Storage includes both Rio Grande and transmountain water.
