We will <br /> <br />7 remain in session with a recess for lunch until 4:00 p.m. today, <br /> <br />8 and we will continue to receive the comments and statements until <br /> <br />9 that time. I wish to emphasize that if one individual has reques eo <br /> <br />10 to speak for more than one organization or for more than one ten <br /> <br />II minute period, he or she will only be alloted one ten minute <br /> <br />12 segment at the outset. Then, at the end of the hearing after all <br /> <br />13 persons desiring to speak have had such an opportunity. the <br /> <br />14 individual who desires additional time will then be allowed ten <br /> <br />15 more minutes to give additional views or expand on the earlier <br /> <br />16 presentation. Now, one final word before calling on the first <br /> <br />17 speaker. We wish to keep this hearing as orderly as possible, <br /> <br />18 and accordingly we would request that there be no untoward dis- <br /> <br />19 plays of emotion or applause or demonstrations during these pro- <br /> <br />20 ceedings. There is available at the rear of the gymnasium a <br /> <br />21 roster to register attendance of those present at the meeting, <br /> <br />22 and if you have not signed the roster we would appreciate it if <br /> <br />23 you would do so. Now, before we commence, are there any question <br /> <br />24 on the part of any of you that I might be able to answer? Any- <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />thing that needs clarifying? <br />
