35

lout of the government printing presses, inflating our money. As

2 a reminder to those that are for this project, reminds me of a

o

';")

3 bank opening their doors, vaults and safety deposit boxes and

w

4 saying, "Come and get it, but leave us ten percent." How many

5 of you would get it? Probably not one of you, because you know

6 it belongs to srnneone else. This is true of this dam. It is

7 not a sound project. Ninety-nine percent of the money going into

8 it has been earned by people not on this river. And because of

9 its unsoundness, should not be used by us, people of this river.

10 Do you want to be classed as a welfare community with hand-outs

11 and all that sort of garbage? To sum it up, in my opinion this

12 whole project is a tremendous waste of human resources and I

13 spell waste with a capital and it is an insult to just good,

......

14 ordinary common sense. to think that families can be told to

15 relocate without sound reason, is beyond my comprehension. That'

16 all I have to say.

17

MODERATOR: Thank you, Mr. Boyer, for coming. We appre-

18 ciate your being here and giving us your views.

19 MR. BOYER: Thank you.

20

MODERATOR: Now, again, I don't have any other persons

21 names on my list to testify who haven't already had the opportuni y.'
~~ I
22 Are there persons in the audience who have not testified who

23 would like to have the opportunity to do so? If there are, would
24 you make that fact knoWn now?
~ 25
MR. DUNN: I have a reserved spot. Could I?
