Our guests have returned many different

3 summers because of our unique setting. For them, the isolation

4 and beauty are &uong the attractions of the ranch. Fishing is

5 excellent; we have beautiful trails for horseback riding where

6 deer abound. We have recently added a tennis court, anticipating

continuous participation of the ranch.

Essential to the operation are the pastures for the

horses and other livestock, barns, saddle house and the quaint

and rustic cabins for the guests. Several of our next generation

of Boyers have shown much enthusiasm for winterizing some quar-

ters and taking guests for winter activities. This is not a

case of removing only one family: ours is a business that has

been engaged in guest ranching for about 50 years. One cannot

relocate our particular location, which is one of our main I

attractions, or our family home, which has been in continuous

use by the Boyers for over 70 years. We do not feel ready to

give up all that we have worked for so long and hard, and are

unalterably opposed to the Sandstone Dam site.

MODERATOR: Thank you very much.

Mr. Steve Adams of the Little Snake River Conservation

District.

:,

~IR.
