Only <br />those groups launching during the first 10 days <br />of the two-week period would be assured of not <br />encountering motorized craft. <br />Under this alternative, severe scheduling <br />problems would result. Guides hired by con- <br />cessioners might have to be laid off during the <br />two-week periods or employers would incur the <br />cost of idle employees. Equipment would also <br />be idle and perhaps have to be stored during <br />these times. In addition, due to six weeks <br />of non-motorized use, all commercial operators <br />might not have an opportunity to utilize their <br />entire user day allocation. <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />
