Wickenburg requests the <br />allocation to it of po~er and energy from the <br />Colorado River Storage! Project in the amount of <br />4 megawatts to partialQy meet its capacity and <br />energy requirements in 1989. <br /> <br />The Town presentl~ is not an allotee of any <br />federal energy, nor is; it a customer of the Arizona <br />Power Authority (APA).! The Town, however, is qua- <br />lified for and entitled to an allocation from the <br />. ! <br />Colorado R~ver Storage! Project,. <br /> <br />An allocation of this small amount of power <br />and energy to Wickenburg, which is currently trying <br />to meet all its needs through a contractual relation- <br />ship with Arizona Public Service will help conserve <br />the use of scarce fuel (including those of Arizona <br />Public Service) and wi+l be consistent with national <br />energy goals.
