this Application as Exhibit B.
Hodason Ditch. The Hodgson Ditch has been used for
irrigation of lands generally located in portions of Sections
34 and 35, T. 4 5., R. 69 W. of the 6th P.M., Jefferson
County, Colorado. The lands historically irrigable, down to
the nearest quarter sections, are shown on the map attached to
this Application as Exhibit A. The original Statement of
Claim for the Hodgson Ditch stated that the ditch was used to
irrigate 200 acres of land. A summary of the ditch's diver-
sion records for the Bear Creek priorities described above for
the yea~s 1938 to 1957 is attached to this Application as
Exhibit C.
5. PROPOSED CHANGES:
A. Alternate Place of Use. Although retaining the
decreed irrigation use for the water rights, Lakewood proposes
an alternate place of use of the Pioneer Union Ditch water
rights that it owns to portions of Sections 31, 32, and 33, T.
4 S., R. 69 w., in order to irrigate acreage above the Pioneer
Union Ditch and on the North and South sides of Bear Creek at
the Fox Hollow at Lakewood Golf Course, a 27-hole golf course
planned for construction in Bear Creek Lake Park. Lakewood,
however, proposes to reserve one quarter-share (5.48 inches)

for decreed irrigation uses within the decreed place of use
below the ditch at the City's nurseries, located within the
