<br />6. Missouri River Basin Comprehensive Framework StudY <br />(Includes the North Platte, South Platte, and Republican <br />River Drainage Basins in Colorado) <br /> <br />a. Sponsoring Agency - Missouri Basin Inter-Agency <br /> <br /> <br />Committee. The Inter-Agency Committee consisted or <br /> <br /> <br />representatives from the Federal resource agencies and <br /> <br /> <br />one representative from each of the ten Missouri River <br /> <br /> <br />Basin States. Colorados' representative was a Board <br /> <br /> <br />staff member. A Standing Committee. organized an <br /> <br /> <br />Executive Group and five work Groups to carryon the <br /> <br /> <br />framework study effort. The Executive Group carried <br /> <br /> <br />out the direct work in administering the overall study <br /> <br /> <br />for the Standing Committee. Several Task Forces were <br /> <br /> <br />organized under the Work Groups to accomplish assigned <br /> <br /> <br />portions of the study. Colorado Board staff members <br /> <br /> <br />served on the Standing Committee and the Work Groups. <br /> <br />b. The Study Report was published in 1971 <br /> <br />c. Obiectives of the StudY <br /> <br />(1) Provide long range projections of economic <br /> <br /> <br />development and translate such projections into <br /> <br /> <br />demands for water and related land resource uses. <br />
