d. Each standing committee shall report to the AWRBIAC on its
activities at each regular meeting unless excused by the AWRBIAC
Chairman. In addition, chairmen of standing committees shall report
accomplishments for inclusion in the annual report of AWRBIAC.

e. Assignments to committees shall be specific and deal normally
with a limited subject.

f. The first order of business of a standing committee shall be
to submit, for AWRBIAC consideration, a proposed outline of respon-
sibilities which, when adopted as proposed or amended, shall become
the guide for the standing committee activity.

g. The chairman of a standing committee, with approval of its
members, is authorized to make interim and/or short term appointments
to "work groups" as may be required to carry out the standing committee's
responsibilities.

ARTICLE II - VOTING PROCEDURE, AWRBIAC

Section 1. Quorum

a. All action, except where specifically exempted, shall be in
accordance with the majority vote of the membership present.

ARTICLE III - MEETING (GUIDES)

Section 1. Types of Meetings

a. Regular meetings shall be held at suitable intervals through-
out the year. Regular meetings normally will be open to the public.

b. Executive or special meetings may be called by the AWRBIAC
Chairman.
