SYNOPSIS

being considered for projects participating in the benefits and revenues
of the Colorado River Storage project, the Lyman project water users could
pay a total of about $2,125,000. The remainder of the construction cost,
amounting to $7,722,000, would be paid from revenues of the storage proj-
ect which would be credited to the Upper Colorado River Account. A
development period of 5 years after the first delivery of project water
would be desirable before water users were assessed full water charges.
An irrigation district would be organized to contract with the United
States for payment of project costs.

Cooperation and Acknowledgments

Several Federal, State, and local governmental agencies and local
interests have cooperated in the investigation by supplying helpful
information and data. Foremost among these, besides the Federal agencies
directly participating, have been the Geological Survey of' the Depart-
ment of the Interior, the University of Wyoming, and the State Engineer
of Wyoming.
