<br />The public lands included in this proposed planning amendment area total approximately 1 2,237
<br />acres in Grand and Eagle counties. The above described lands would be subject to all the
<br />management prescriptions described in the proposed action. This entails including an ihe lands
<br />in the Upper Colorado River Special Recreation Management Area (SRMA), establishing land
<br />use priorities for the lands, establishing the area as No Surface Occupancy (NSO) for oil and gas
<br />leasing, and withdrawing the lands from settlement, sale, location, or entry under the general land
<br />Jaws, including the mining laws.

<br />B. In addition, the proposed action would also apply to Federal mineral estate with privately
