<br />obtains a supply o,f excellent quality water from the slopes of
<br />Pike II Peak. l'he supply is insufficient for present requirements
<br />and the city has indicated an urgent and immediate need for 4,000
<br />acre-feet of supplemental water.
<br />The towns of Manz~ola~ Rocky Ford, La Junta" Las Animas,
<br />Lamar, CrOWley, Wiley and Eads obtain water from sprinGS, wells,
<br />and the Arkansas River. l'he, quality is poor ranging in hardness
