Pennits will be required from Federal, State, and Local Agencies. An initial
compilation of potential pennitting requirements was compiled through the use of the
Colorado Permit Directory as modified in the "Water Resources Plan Alternative Assessment
Study completed for Colorado Springs Utilities by Gronning Engineering Company dated
June 1995. An initial list of these project permits is given in Table 1.

Meetings have been held with eight federal and state agencies that have pennlttmg or
operational responsibilities that will have significant input to the pennitting of the storage
alternatives. These eight agencies are as follow:

. U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR)
. U.S. Anny Corps of Engineers (Corps)
. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS)
. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
. U.S. Forest Service (USFS)
. U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM)
. Colorado Division of Parks (CDOP)
. Colorado Division of Wildlife (CDOW)

A copy of the typical meeting agenda and copies of the meeting minutes are included in
Appendix A.
