The quantity <br />of imported water has remained stable over a long period of years. 20,000 to <br /> <br />30,000 acre feet of the water measured at the Bluff, Utah, station annually <br /> <br />is return flow from the water imported to the San Juan River Basin from the <br /> <br />Dolores River Basin in Colorado. A part of this water, averaging 24,200 acre <br /> <br />feet per year, is measured at the McElmo Creek gaging station and is included <br /> <br />in the total runoff leaving the State of Colorado. The balance is water of <br /> <br />unmeasured streams leaving the State. <br /> <br />-6- <br />
