This program authorizes grants-in-aid to public
agencies to assist them in developing individual public airports which are
essential units of the national airport system. The Planning Grant Program,
which provides matching grant monies to local sponsors of airport systems
plans and airport master plans is also administered by the FAA, These plans
subsequently are incorporated into the FAA National Airports System Plan.

!!
