"

MR. D. L. lJILL!AMS: I think that the way we are doing this we are by-passing
the Southwestern Colorado Water Conservancy District completely.

JUDGE STJNEI We sent several of these reports to interested groups several
months ago. The Southwestern Colorado Water Conservancy District has had a copy
of this report.

MR. HUdTER: That's right.

MR. D. L. WILLIAMS: I guess I'm the only one that doesn't know anything
about this report.

JUDGE STONE: This meeting was intended to include all groups and the State
Boe,rd hardly had time to explain the report to all groups.

MR. KELIX 1 I Second the motion for adoption of the resolution.

"

MR. HUNTER: Are you ready for tile question?

CHORUS 1 Question.

MR. HUNTER: All those in favor say aye. Opposed nay. (Resolution passed
unanimously. )

MR. HULTER: (Recesses the neeting at about 12130 p.m. for lunch. Invites
practically the entire assembly for lunch at the expense of the Southwestern
Colorado Water Consel:'Vancy District).

The meeting was reconvened after lunch at 2:15 p.m.

MR. HUNTER: Will the meeting come to order?

JUDGE STJNE: I'D like to make a Dlotion that we thank Mr. Hunter and the
Southwestern Colorado Water Conservancy District for a very find luncheon.

MR. McDANIEL: I second the motion. (Motion carried).

MR. HUNTER: Are we ready for the second resolution?

MR. BREITENSTEIN: I understand that representatives of the Indian Service
are in town. ! think we should wait until they are here to discuss the resolution
on Indian Project participation.

JUDGE STONE: Yes, I think that is a good idea, Let '1$ act on the third
resolution and come back to this other later.

MR. BREITENSTEIN: (Read Resolution No.3 to defer construction of Glen
Canyon Reservoir).

MR. McDANIEL: ! don't think that we in this area are concerned with
priorities on the 'main stem. I don't think we ought to act on this resolution,

MR. BREITENSTE:m: I think we should all be interested in the main stem
reservoirs. If we bqild Glen Canyon now, it will be a great benefit to the Lower
BaSin, as far as the;power markets are concerned, The power would be used in
Arizona and Californ~a.

..a-
