Morris, Upper Colorado River Basin 13(a) Assessment:
The Economic IMpact of Synfuels Development in the Upper
Colorado River Basin, Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory, 1979.

2) D.J. Goldstein, H. Gold, and R.F. Probstein, Upper Colorado
River Basin 13(a) Assessment: Costs of liastewater Disposal
in Coal Gasification and Oil Shale Processing, Water Purifica-
tion Associates, 1979.

3) Colorado Department of Natural Resources, Upper Colorado River
Basin l3(a) Assessment: The Coal and Oil Shale Resources of the
Upper Colorado River Basin, 1979.

4) Colorado Department of Natural Resources, Upper Colorado River
Basin 13(a) Assessment: The Ground Water Resources of the Upper
Colorado River Basin, 1979.

5) U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Cooperative Instream Flow
Service Group, and U.S. Heritage Conservation and Recreation
Service, A Report on Use of a Rep;ional Reconnaissance Method-
ology to Determine Instream Flow Effects As Applied to the
Analysis of Impacts of Coal and Oil Shale Technolop;ies' Water
Reqoirements on Instream Flow Uses for Fisheries and Recreational
Activities in the Upper Colorado River Basin, 1979.

The first four of these are available upon request from the Colorado
Department of Natural Resources at the address given above. The fifth
may be obtained from the Cooperative Instream Flow Service Group, 2625
Redwing Road, Fort Collins, Colorado 80256.

The results of the hydrologic modeling performed for this assess-
ment by the U.S. Bureao of Reclamation are also available (on micro-
fiche). Further more, a technical memorandum explaining the strocture
and operation of the Bureau's Colorado River System Simulation (CRSS)
model, as employed in this assessment, can be obtained upon request.
Inquiries should be directed to the Division of Planning Coordination,
Engineering and Research Center, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, P.O. Box
25007, Denver, Colorado 80225.

Finally, the overall Upper Colorado River Basin 13(a) assessment
includes two study areas for which the Colorado Department of Natural
Resources was not responsible (and which are not, therefore, reported
herein). The first of these is the water quality impacts of potential
EET cevelopments and the associated growth. This work was done for

x vii
