<br />ACKNOWIEDGMENTS <br /> <br />This Summary Report of the Specific Problem Analysis of the <br />Rio Grande Region has been prepared by the Rio Grande Coordinating <br />Committee on behalf of the Regional Sponsor, the Bureau of Reclamation. <br />It has been prepared in accord with a Memorandum of Agreement with <br />the United States Water Resources Council working through the Regional <br />Study Director, provided by the Bureau of Reclamation with approval <br />of the Council. <br /> <br />The U. S. Water Resources Council includes members from the De- <br />partments of Agriculture, Army, Commerce, Housing and Urban Develop- <br />ment, Interior, and Transportation, and members from the Environmental <br />Protection Agency and Federal Power Commission. The Water Resources <br />Council has designated a National Assessment Committee, with represen- <br />tation from the same agencies and from.the Office of Management and <br />Budget, to recommend guidelines and procedures for performance of the <br />1975 Water Assessment.
