The flood control regulations of this section are sub,lect to tem- <br /> <br />porary modification by the District ~ngineer, Corps of Sngineers, if found <br /> <br />necessary. Requests for, and action on such modification may be made by <br /> <br />any available means of communication, and the action taken by the District <br /> <br />Engineer shall be confirmed in writing under date of same day to the Office <br /> <br />or the Regional Director or the Bureau of Reclamation in charge of the <br /> <br />operations. <br /> <br />g. The Regional Director of the Bureau of Reclamation in charge of <br /> <br />the operations may temporarily suspend application of the flood control <br /> <br />regulations of this section In the event this is deemed necessary for <br /> <br />emergency reasons to protect the safety of the dam or to avoid other serious <br /> <br />hazards. Such action shall be immediately reported LY any available means <br /> <br />of communication, and confirmed in writing under dat~ of same day to the <br /> <br />District Sngineer, Corps of Engineers, In char~ of the locality. <br /> <br />A-3 <br />
