Average annual precipitation varies throughout the drainage area, <br />ranging f'rom 18 to 20 inches in the vicinity of the reservoir area to about <br />40 inches in the higher mountains, as shown on chart 3. Average annual <br />precipitation for Muddy Creek Basin above ?Bonia Dam is estimated to be <br />about 28 inches.
