One suggested solution has been that the industry construct its <br />own system at Yellow Creek. This would involve the construction of <br />Yellow Creek Reservoir to be filled by a pumping plant on the White <br />River, sized for peak diversions during high early-season streamflows as <br />storage releases upstream would not be available to provide an even <br />supply. <br /> <br />Under this plan, a rural domestic water system would probably not <br />be constructed. On the other hand, the town of Meeker would probably <br />pursue its present plans of a three-stage program for developing ground <br />water supplies. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />64 <br />
