Department of Labor <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION OF SURVEY <br /> <br />Field Advisory Committee <br /> <br />Survey work of the U. S. Department of Agriculture will be carried out in <br />accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding, dated April 15, 1968, <br />among the Economic Research Service, Forest Service, and Soil Conservation <br />Service. It will be under the direction of a USDA Field Advisory <br />Committee which has been established to maintain continuous close field <br />working relationships among the three concerned Services. This committee <br />is composed of F. A. Mark, Chairman, Soil Conservation Service; Frank <br />Kopecky, Forest Service; and Ray Lanier, Economic Research Service. <br /> <br />Duration of Study <br /> <br />The survey will be initiated with funds available for FY 1971 and will <br />extend into FY 1974. Final analyses and report preparation will be com- <br />pleted in that year. Survey work will be accomplished concurrently with <br />work on other river basin surveys now authorized or currently scheduled. <br /> <br />Climatic conditions in the basin require that necessary field surveys, <br />watershed inspections, and most other field work be accomplished during <br />summer months.
