<br />01391 <br /> <br />Administrator's Office <br /> <br />Administrator <br />The proposed "Will Be" made no recommendations with regard to the immediate Office ofthe <br />Administrator, The final "Will Be" shows two FTE for the Administrator and an administrative <br />assistant. <br /> <br />After the start of Transformation, we established an Executive Assistant position to deal primarily <br />with quality issues, The position was filled recently, and the role of the Executive Assistant is <br />discussed more fully under the Corporate Affairs Office" <br /> <br />Final, Staffing level: 2 FTE <br /> <br />Washington Liaison Office <br />The Washington Liaison Office represents Western on issues at the Department of Energy, The <br />proposed "Will Be" suggested that the Public Affairs Office report to the Washington Liaison <br />Office. That recommendation was not adopted, as discussed in the Corporate Affairs Office <br />section, <br /> <br />, Final staffing level: 4 FTE <br /> <br />Economic Impact and Diversity Office <br />The Office of Economic Impact and Diversity manages Western's Equal Employment <br />Opportunity functions. The proposed "Will Be" recommended a staffing level offive Federal <br />employees with the adoption ofan Early Dispute Resolution program and outsourcing ofEEO <br />counseling activities, Because of expected workload, the final "Will Be" maintains a level of <br />seven FIE through the first two years of implementing the "Will Be" plan. After implementing <br />Early Dispute Resolution and outsourcing EEO counseling activities, workload will be <br />reevaluated for possible reduction to five FTE, <br /> <br />Final staffing level: 7 FTE <br /> <br />General Counsel's Office <br />The General Counsel's Office provides advice to Western management on all legal issues and <br />represents Western in administrative hearings and in Federal court. The proposed "Will Be" <br />recommended that the Freedom of Information Act processing function be transferred from the <br />Procurement Office to the General Counsel's Office, along with an FTE for a paralegal position, <br />The final "Will Be" adopted the recommendation, In response to employee comments, the power <br />marketing CD ROM library of documents and associated database support, located formerly in <br />the HQ Marketing and Rates office, will now reside in the General Counsel's Office. <br /> <br />Final staffing level: 15 FTE <br /> <br />Corporate Affairs Management Office <br />The Corporate Affairs Management Office disseminates information about Western through news <br />releases, brochures, bulletins, biweekly newsletters, the Annual Report, videos and other media, <br /> <br />6 <br />
