Also, the maintenance group <br />manages the region's CAD resources. <br /> <br />After review of suggestions and comments, the maintenance boundary between the RM and DSW <br />regions was set at the Shiprock terminal of the Glen Canyon-Shiprock 230-kV transmission line. <br />The DSW region will maintain the transmission line to the Shiprock Substation; the RM region <br />will maintain Shiprock Substation. The maintenance boundaries between the RM and Upper <br />Great Plains regions remain the same with the boundaries being the Yellowtail tennina! of the <br />Crossover-Yellowtail230-kV transmission line and Wayside Substation on the New Underwood- <br />Stegall 230-kV transmission line. Also in response to comments, direct administrative support in <br />the field offices was increased. <br /> <br />Final staffing level: 166 FTE, 10 contractors <br /> <br />Power Marketing <br />The power Marketing group will be headed by a power marketing manager supported by <br />managers of contracts/energy services, resources/planning and rates. The Power Marketing <br />group will market all LAP generation and transmission resources. In addition, the group will <br />administer all LAP and CRSP contIacts held by customers in the RM region. The group will <br />develop rate structures for LAP power and transmission contracts, conduct power repayment <br />studies for the Fryingpan-Arkansas project, and assist the UGP region in the prosecution of the <br />Pick-Sloan power repayment studies. The power marketing group will also conduct planning and <br />power system simulation studies in support of the region's construction and rehabilitation <br />program and in support of the region's operations group. All power marketing staffwill be duty- <br />stationed in Loveland, Colo. <br /> <br />An area of concern in RM power marketing is commitments on CRSP transmission resources in <br />the region that are operated and maintained by the RM region. In response to comments, senior <br />managers clarified that the CRSP Management Center would have sole authority to commit <br />CRSP transmission assets, To negotiate and execute transmission and interconnection contracts, <br />the CRSP Manager will call upon the technical services necessary from either the RM or DSW <br />regions to accomplish that task. Although this will be a collaborative effort, the CRSP manager <br />will have ultimate authority, responsibility and accountability for executing transmission contracts <br />committing CRSP transmission assets. <br /> <br />Fmal staffing levels: 23 FTE <br /> <br />32 <br />
