The size of Juniper Reservoir is limited by development at <br /> <br />Craig which has an elevation of 6174 feet above sea level. <br /> <br />Water would be released at Juniper Damsite to the Deadman Bench <br /> <br />Canal which would have an initial capacity of 2,050 cubic-feet per <br /> <br />second and would head at the dam at elevation 6105 feet above sea <br /> <br />level, which is 160 feet above streambed. The Deadman Bench Canal <br /> <br />and canals diverting from it or supplied through it would be the <br /> <br />source of irrigation water to about 98,000 acres of the 100,000 acres. <br /> <br />White River would supply water to the remainder. This main canal <br /> <br />would extend 154 miles in a west~southwesterly direction. It would <br /> <br />include some 10 miles of tunnel, seven miles of bench flume, three <br /> <br />mile a of lined canal section, and Olie mile of siphon as well as 133 <br /> <br />9 <br />
