<br />The existing LO~ler South Platte and Central Colorado Water 'Conservancy '
<br />Districts ~Iould be the contracting entities for payment of part of the .
<br />costs allocated to irrigation. In addition, as provided by Section, 3 of
<br />the Authorization Act (Public Law 9l~399) rEvenues from. the Pick-Sloan
<br />Missouri B3.sin Program pO\'ier fund will rep'ay the bil1arlce of the costs
<br />allocated toirrigati.on. .

<br />Repayment contracts will be required with the State of Colorado for
<br />repayment of reimblJrsable recreation and fish and wildlife enhancement
<br />costs.

<br />HHO WILL OPERATE THE liNn?

<br />Narrows Darn and Reservoir will be initially operated and maintained
<br />by the Bureau of Recldmation. The Corps of Engineers will direct flood
<br />operations \>otJen the reservoir \'later surface is in the allocated flood
<br />control ilnd surcharge pool space. The Lower South Platte Water
<br />Conservancy Di stri ct and the Central Colorado l>:ater Conservancy Di strict
<br />are the entities contracting for the water supply. The conservancy
<br />districts will sell water to ditch companies ,and irrigation districts who
<br />wi 11 use and be res pons i b 1 e for the actual opera ti on and ma i ntenance of
<br />.. ,all existing irrigation works.

<br />The recreation and fish and w'ildlife,lards and facilities will be
<br />transferred to appl'opr'iate State agtlllcies :. namely, the Colorado Division
<br />of Parks and Outdoor Recreation and the Colorado Div'ision of Wildlife for
<br />administration and milnagement.
