Carbon) Dam and Lake flood control project, <br />Jefferson County, Colorado, in response to your September 8 letter <br />of traD81llittal. <br /> <br />The scattered references to mine, mineral resource, and mineral <br />industry involvements on 'pages 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9 of the revised <br />statement respond generally to comments offered in our letter to <br />you on August 11, 1970, when we reviewed your similar five-point <br />environmental impact statement. ,Background for our reviews was <br />detailed and submitted to your office OD November 18, 1966, in our <br />lO-page ODsite examination report, entitled "Mineral Resources at <br />Mt.
