<br />Location.-- Lat 38051', long 99019', in SEt sec. 10, T. 14 S., R. 18 W., at county highway bridge, half a mile up-
<br />stream from Custer Island Park Dam, 3 miles southeast of Hays, and 25 miles upstream from mouth.

<br />Remarks.-- Classed as index station; regionally extended to base period by stations 36 and 88.

<br />Location..... Lat 380471, long 98051', in NW~ sec. 2, T. 15 S., R. 14 W., at bridge on U. S. Highway 281, a quarter
<br />of a mile upstream from Landon Creek, 7.7 miles south of Russell, and at mile 287.0.

<br />Remarks.-- Classed as satellite stationj regionally extended to base period by station 28. Flow regulated by Cedar
<br />Bluff Reservoir since Nov. 13, 1950.

<br />Location.-- Lat 38044', long 98014', in SEt sec. 20, T. 15 S., R. 8 W., at bridge on State Highway 14 in Ellsworth,
<br />2 miles downstream from Turkey Creek, and at mile 238.0.

<br />Remarks.-- Classed at pivot station for natural conditions. Flow regulated by Cedar Bl,uff Reservoir since
<br />November 13, 1950.

<br />(29) Smoky Hill River near Langley, Kans.

<br />Location.-- Lat 38037', long 97057', in SEt sec. 35, T. 16 S., R. 6 W., at county highway bridge, half a mile down-
<br />stream from Kanopolis Dam, 5 miles north of Langley, and at mile 207.2.

<br />Remarks..... Classed as sate1~ite station; regionally extended to base period for natural conditions by station 28
<br />and for regulated conditions by station 30. Flow regulated by Kanopolis Reservoir since July 29, 1946 and by
<br />Cedar' Bluff Reservoir since Nov. 13, 1950. Flow duration relations are shown for conditions both before and
