<br />Location.-- Lat 40000', long 970 561, in sec. 6, T 1 8.. R. 5 W., at county highway bridge. It miles southwest of
<br />Hardy, and at mile 145.1.
<br />
<br />Remarks.-- Classed as pivot station for natural conditions prior to closure of.Harlan County Reservoir on Nov.
<br />14,1952, Flow duration data for the years 1921-24, I929-32, were based on estimated number of days in each
<br />range of discharge by correlation with station at Scandia, Kans., 20 miles downstream. Flow may also be some-
<br />what affected by irrigation developments and reservoirs in headwaters since 1949.

<br />Remarks.-- Classed as satellite station; regionally extended to base period by station 8. Flow duration relations
<br />are based on records prior to closure of Harlan County Reservoir on Nov. 14. 1952. Flow may also be somewhat
<br />affected by irrigation developm ents and reservoirs in headwaters since 1949.
