<br />Mr. Christy stated that operation of the Fryingpan Project presents
<br />problems of water delivery and suggested the BUreau send some personnel
<br />to Phoenix to keep closely in touch with Mr. Patton IS staff. A motion was
<br />made by Mr. Christy, seconded by Mr. Youngl that the President designate
<br />a committee to outline questions and problems and also to go to Phoenix to
<br />examin! the operation of the analog computer. . He .suggested that both surface
<br />and underground users be afforded the opportunity to make the visit. Motion
<br />carried.

<br />The property committee reported that they had met with the,architect,
<br />Mr. James Holst. and had signed a contract with him to design an office
<br />building for the District.
<br />
<br />Mr. Nichols led a report on the annual meetins of the Cotorado River
<br />Water Users Association. Mr. Christy commented on the good programs
<br />and that Mr. Northcutt Ely gave a good report, also that California represent-
<br />atives were especially cooperative. He was pleased with the adoption of the
<br />resolution adopted paralleling the N. R. A. resolution. Judge Cabibi was
<br />impressed by the long range thinking expressed by the Association. The
<br />overall policy and thinking is very positive. Judge Cabibi commented that
<br />Mr. Felix Sparks did an outstanding job of presenting an accurate report on
<br />conditions and thinking in Colorado. Mr. Nichols commented that Mr. Sparks
<br />is recognized throughout all the Western states as an outstanding, capable,
<br />authority.
