' <br /> <br />( ~ <br /> <br />(5) "Collector system" means a network of pipes and conduits through <br />\'/hich sewage flows to a se\~age treatment plant. <br /> <br />(6) "Distribution system" means a net\'lork of pipes and conduits <br />through which water is piped to the public for human consumption or'a network of <br />pipes and conduits through which water is piped to the public in exchange'or <br />trade for water for human consumption. <br /> <br />(7) "Proposed development" means a major extension of an existing <br />domestic water or sewage treatment system as defined in 4-103(1), (2) and (3) <br />and includes any proposed land development related to such system if such develop- <br />ment specifically generates the need for a major extension of an existing major <br />\'icter 01" se\./age treatment system. The term "development area" as used in this <br />reClulation is included within the meaning of "proposed development." <br /> <br />(8) "Source area development" means that geographic area or region <br />\'Iholly or partially within the unincorporated territory of this County which <br />will be developed or altered in connection with a major extension of existing <br />domestic water and sewage treatment systems, as those terms are defined in <br />4-103(1), (2) and (3). The source development area mayor may not be the same <br />as the development area. <br /> <br />4-104. Authority. <br /> <br />These regulations are adopted pursuant to, inter alia, ~24-65.1-101, <br />et~, and ~29-20-101, et~, C.R.S., 1973. <br /> <br />4-105. Applicability. <br /> <br />These regulations shall apply to the site selection and construction <br />of all major extensions of existing domestic water and sewage treatment systems. <br /> <br />4-106. Relationship of Requlations to Other State and Federal Requirements. <br />(1) Nothing in these regulations shall be construed as exempting an <br />. , <br />applicant for a permit from any other requirements of this County or other state <br />or federal la\'/s and regulations. <br /> <br />(2) To the extent that the requirements of these regulations differ <br /> <br />- 39 - <br />
